Free Ziggy // RIP G-Baby
In the mid to late 2000s, many Bloods and Crips around Brooklyn linked up. This was later carried over into Queens and surrounding areas, where Ziggy Za was one of the main persons ending beef. With the emergence of the Wooo and Choo movement in the mainstream, a lot of people don’t know who laid the foundation for the 11 boys. Before Pop Smoke, 22Gz and others blew up with the NY Drill movement, Ziggy Za was one of the OG newcomers gaining traction.
He starred in movies and had a music career; however, his name in the streets carried more weight. By being solidified, he was on the verge of making a transition to graduate into Hollywood. However, a death that hit home, unfortunately led to him getting 107 years behind bars. This week, Da Product DVD, who recorded and presented the original footage of Ziggy and G-Gaby in the hood together, brought more light to the story Za.
