Will The Golden State Stars Get Bored?
It’s no secret that many believe the Golden State Warriors are the favorites to win this season, but we find it hard to believe that squad is not getting bored. With the team having two of the top five players in the league, a floor-leader and deadly sharp-shooter on the court (at the same time), it’s hard to defeat this cohesive unit. However, what gets ignored if how great they play defense together, communicating and switching at multiple positions.
They’ve essentially got rid of the center position in the NBA, making teams like Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers and now Cleveland Cavaliers all adjust to their playing style. This season, we see the team easily capturing another championship in June; but what intrigues us is whether or not Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant will stay beyond the following summer.
It’s been rumored that Klay wants to become a star in his own right and lead a team to a title down the line. Along with Kevin Durant battling his demons of leaving Russell Westbrook for dead and joining the enemy, we’ll be keeping tabs on how much this team really enjoys no competition.
