Does Joell Embid Finish the Year Healthy?
In three seasons, Joel Embiid has played a grand total of 31 games, all being during the 2017 season. The Philadelphia 76ers believed in The Process so much, that they inked to him a max-deal a few weeks ago. However, even with all of the talent and buzz surrounding the likeable player, we’re skeptical whether or not his body will be able to hold up.
We really hope that he does stay injury-free, because the league needs a superstar big man to rid-away this small-ball arcade nonsense we’ve seen over the past few seasons. If Joel does go the full-season injury free, along with Ben Simmons, we’re not sure what could possibly hold them back anymore from at least being in contention for a final playoff spot. Along with having recent rookie of the year winner Malcolm Brogdon and the first overall pick in last year’s draft Markelle Fultz still on the roster, Embiid’s health is the key to this franchise returning to prominence.
