Stone Cold, HBK & Mic Foley’s Impromptu Appearance
Following The League of Nations defeat of The New Day, Mr. WrestleMania’s music randomly hit, as Shawn Michael was in his home state of Texas for potentially his last appearance on the big stage in tights. Soon after, Mic Foley’s theme hit, as he played to the crowd for a few seconds; but last, the epic shattering glass arrived, with Steve Austin making another in-ring appearance.
Unfortunately, Stone Cold didn’t agree to a fight with Brock Lesnar and judging by his weight – and knew beforehand that he didn’t want to have anything to do with a real match. However, that didn’t mean the three icons of the business couldn’t provide an instant memory for fans of the universe, as well as long-time attitude followers. Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and Rusev and King Barrett sold their finishers, with Xavier Woods of New Day getting the final stunner for the night.
