John Cena & The Rock vs. The Wyatt Family
We were originally expecting John Cena to make an appearance in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal; but WWE didn’t fail to disappoint their audience with the doctor of thug-a-nomics making a surprise return to the ring. After going on a lengthy promotional campaign run for the company over the last two weeks, he soon joined The Rock in the ring, who was about to be attacked by The Wyatt Family.
Following Rocky’s attendance announcement promo and mocking the Wyatt’s gimmick, he was outnumbered 3-1. This prompted Cena to hit the ring and clean house with his frenemy – even teasing a heel turn, to play the crowd. With Cesaro and Seth Rollins still not medically cleared until the summer most likely, WWE got back a draw they desperately needed.
