The WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
As expected, WWE started off their show with the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match, which some are still saying stole the show. Throughout the 15-minute affair, defending champion Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn continued their feud, which even overshadowed the entire match itself.
However, the finish of Zack Ryder climbing and grabbing the belt was shoking. Ryder was the least likely to win the belt and most popular among the superstars, so him winning came as a complete shock. For many years, Zack’s career had been held back by the politics; but we’re assuming his on their good side after winning their second most important title, on the biggest event of the year.
