The biggest advice or help most people most of the time is right under their nose. For years, the die-hard loyalist Knicks fans have been pleading with the team to make smarter decisions, to balance out the idiotic ones in recent years. Some may cite the multi-player deal for Carmelo or not signing Jeremey Lin initially as mistakes, but this season has shown us why both moves were made for the future of the Knickerbockers.
At the present time, Phil Jackson is still enjoying his Manhattan honey moon among the hearts of New York, due to his success in Chicago and Los Angeles; but that may change if he doesn’t do right by fans within the city. In comparison to some of the moves made by management in the last 15-years (not spending money wisely and signing the wrong player or coaches), we’re sure a group of elite loyalists could’ve put together a better job with transactions than the dictatorship they’ve been enduring all this time.
