Leave Hollywood Full Time
We know Phil Jackson and Jeanie Buss are most likely to remain lifetime companions, but for his new situation in New York to fully work, he’ll have to leave Los Angeles behind, including any ties to the Lakers. Whether that means creating an “open” relationship or finding a chick on Broadway are options for the Zen Master, he’ll have to spend the majority of his time in the rotten apple with no out of state distractions.
Traveling back and forth to Hollywood every other week will ultimately be a distraction, and while running the Knicks to their maximum potential will not happen if he’s still west coast bound Jeanie might have to take one for the team and leave an even messier Lakers situation alone for a few years or travel to New York herself in the current long-distant relationship.
