Chicago Bulls Having A First A First Round Upset Defeat
One of the biggest shockers for some may be the Chicago Bulls not making it out of the first round in the 2015 playoffs. Analyzing their season, the team has been injured all-season, with Derrick Rose, Kirk Hinrich, Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott all missing significant action. Joakim Noah has almost every injury known to man but we could never see the heart of the team not playing through a non-broken bone.
Last off-season, Pau Gasol joined the team afer a championship run with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and 2010 – which many of us have felt he was under-appreciated and miss-used his final years alongside friend Kobe Bryant. Tom Thibodeau, just like Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan has issues with the notorious front office of the Chicago Bulls and is already looking to leave the team before they potentially fire him in the off-season.
The players and their head coach are on the same page, but a good working environment requires the higher powers from above to give them freedom in success. Thibodeau, has endured the four year injury woes of Derrick Rose, since making it to the conference finals in his first year with the team during 2011.
With a record of 65% winning record, that may not be enough to keep focus and animosity away from the front office. The Milwaukee Bucks are no team to overlook, who’ve been playing .500 ball even without their best player on the team out the entire season, Jabari Parker.
The 20-year-old freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo still developing in the midst of Michael Carter-Williams and Khris Middleton having their talents properly showcased with first year head coach Jason Kidd. The young collective of Bucks have enough on their roster and an experienced leader familiar with this league to shakeup the landscape of the Eastern Conference.
