Indiana Pacers receive Evan Turner & Lavoy Allen
Philadelphia 76ers receive Danny Granger
The move of the day. In a very surprising deal the Indiana Pacers traded SF Danny Granger to the Sixers in exchange for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen. This move was both shocking, because it came at the last minute and because nobody saw it coming. You may ask why the Pacers would do this, but the fact was that Granger was a free agent this summer and most likely wasn’t staying in Indy. In Evan Turner they get a player that they can plug right into their system and he can contribute from day one. This now makes their bench possibly the best in the league. Hopefully this all leads to a remarkable Pacers vs. Heat Eastern Conference Finals in May.
