Phillip Dorsett, Miami
Phillip Dorsett showed out at the combine, tallying a blazing 4.33 40-yard dash time and displaying his quickness and agility with the cone drills and shuttle. He’s a mid-size guy at just over 5’10” and 185 pounds, but his speed and explosiveness more than make up for what he lacks in build.
Dorsett has no problem speeding past defenders in man-to-man coverage, making him a mismatch for a lot of linebackers and corners that might be covering him. Because of his size, he will struggle with bigger NFL corners like Brandon Browner or Richard Sherman at first, but he’ll adjust to the NCAA-NFL shift over time.
