Darren Waller (WR, Georgia Tech)
Every team could use a big, athletic wide receiver and Darrenn Waller looks like an unheralded prospect is worth a look. The 6’6”, 238-pound receiver from Georgia Tech is coming off of a nice combine performance, leaping 37 inches and also running an impressive 4.46 seconds.
He looks the part, and clearly has the athletic ability to be effective in the NFL. Admittedly, he is rough around the edges and rawer than turkey before it hits the oven, but the potential is there. Plus, you can’t teach a man to be 6’6” and 238 pounds.
If he gets with the right coaching staff, Waller could turn out to be a huge steal.
