Utah Jazz get: Shelvin Mack
Atlanta Hawks get: Second-round pick
Regardless of their record, the Utah Jazz is one team nobody wants to see in the first round. With a fierce front-court of Rudy Gobert, Derrick Favors and team captain Gordon Hayward, the Jazz can compete with arguably any team around the league – in the regular season.
The Jazz, who have struggled with their back court, get help with former Butler stand-out player, Shelvin Mack, who’ll fill in the void for Dante Exum recovering from ACL surgery last fall – as well as Trey Burke still adjusting to a new team in his second year. The Hawks, were rumored to give up their core of Al Horford, Jeff Teague and Paul Milsap decided to stand pat with their current roster.
