Watch 30 for 30 “The U Part 2”!
5 years ago, ESPN Films released one of their greatest episodes in the 30 for 30 film series with The U. The two-hour presentation detailed the racial and cultural evolution of Miami during the 1980s, when the University of Miami football team rose to national fame. Crime and drug usage plagued the team during throughout the early 1990s as well their downfall. Coincidentally, the team saw an unfortunate scandal once again in 2011 for NCAA violations, which made them ineligible for bowl participation. The U Part 2 depicts the rise and fall of the historic college football program in the video above, that you can watch in full.
