Johnny Manziel, QB, Cleveland Browns
The Johnny Manziel experiment failed in Cleveland. He had a miserable rookie year and, while the Browns weren’t too good themselves, proved that he wasn’t worth the risk, leading the team to once again be in the market for a quarterback this year. They’ll try to trade him, but likely won’t pull in too great of a haul.
Given the fact that he’s not the first quarterback to have a bad rookie year and turn it around, he’ll definitely draw interest from some teams. Add in his sheer potential and the fact he’s a dual-threat passer, and he could probably be worth a third rounder at best.
Even so, better than keeping him when you’re not going to use him and he isn’t a reliable backup anyway.
