Following a Game 6 loss to the Miami Heat ending the Pacers season, Frank Vogel said, “It’s bitterly disappointing to fall short of our goals, and it’s bitterly disappointing to lose to this team three years in a row. But we’re competing against the Michael Jordan of our era, the Chicago Bulls of our era.” And he’s right.
All great things come to an end and so will the Heat’s run (eventually) but as a team that has reached the Eastern Conference Finals how do you improve? What will it take for the Pacers to reach the NBA Finals (besides Lebron leaving Miami)?
To reach the promise land, here are a few things the Pacers organization should consider this offseason.
