5 Things The Indiana Pacers Can Do To Improve Next Season

Get A Better Point Guard

In a league being dominated by outstanding point guards, the Pacers are definitely towards the bottom of the talented guard list. Indiana native, George Hill, is not the worst guy to run your offense but the team could definitely use an upgrade.

The answer probably isn’t to trade him, unless you can package him and Hibbert, but he should not be a starter right now. On a team where scoring has always been an issue, it would not hurt for them to bring in an offensive threat to run the show and offer Paul George some help. Someone like Kyle Lowry would fit in great for Indiana as he plays gritty defense but more importantly he would contribute a 17.9 PPG average (as well as 7.9 AST) bringing instant offense.

Unfortunately, they do not have a first round draft pick this year so the team would have to rely on Free Agency to add depth here, get a guard in the potential Hibbert trade, or even move Hill himself.
