Where will he land in the Top 5?
Emmanuel Mudiay‘s rise to the top of the 2015 NBA Draft class was an unorthodox one. Ranked as the number two prospect coming out of high school, he committed to SMU, but later retracted to play overseas in China. Usually, a player goes to a school, lights it up and then goes one and done or stays at the school for another season. Mudiay chose to take $1.2 million from the Guangdong Southern Tigers and play 7,492 miles from home.
Now, he is looked at as one of the top point guards in this year’s draft and can go as high as three, behind Karl Anthony Towns and Jahlil Okafor. But who will draft him? Chances are, either the Los Angeles Lakers or Philadelphia 76ers, depending on how the ping pong balls land.
