Opening night in Charlotte, NC
Getting drafted into the NBA is a big accomplishment for any athlete, but playing in that first game of the regular season is what a kid’s dreams culminate to. Jabari Parker had his shot against the Charlotte Hornets on October 29. As you can see in the clip, he walked to the arena to gather his thought and get himself prepared mentally, but he said he wasn’t nervous at all.
Unfortunately, his first game resulted in an overtime loss, but Jabari has been one of the most NBA-ready players to come out of the draft so far. He’s averaging 10.6 points a game for the Milwaukee Bucks and 5.6 rebounds through the first 10 games of the season.
