Aaron Gordon Throws Down Put Back Slam At the Buzzer

Aaron Gordon missed some time last season with a fractured foot, but he’s back with a vengeance this season. Truth be told, the Orlando Magic might be a sleeper team in the Eastern Conference if they can get their young guys to step up and make things happen.

Gordon is one of those guys they need to play like a beast, much like he did on this play with a put back slam to beat the first quarter buzzer.

On a drive by Elfrid Peyton with time running out, Aaron grabbed the miss with two hands and completely posterized Bradley Beal, who was caught on the wrong end of that defensive play. Gordon came off the bench and provided 12 points on the night, as well as 7 rebounds and 1 block.

This game came down to the wire too, with the Magic coming up short on the last play of the game when Nikola Vucevic missed what would have been the game-winner.

FINAL: WAS 88 | ORL 87
