Man, we can’t wait until this year’s Slam Dunk contest, but since we have to, we’ll have to settle for in-game dunking from Aaron Gordon. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing when he’s pulling off 360’s slams on a breakaway steal.
That’s exactly what happened tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers.
He picked off young Hollis Thompson from behind and had the length of the court by himself for the dunk. Considering he had all the time in the world to pull it off, he decided for the double pump 360 two-handed throw down. It was basically a practice session for what has up his sleeve this year for the All-Star festivities.
Both the Magic and Sixers are winless this season and one snapped that streak tonight.
