Aaron Hernandez is now a former member of the New England Patriots, as today he was arrested in connection to the ongoing murder investigation of Odin Lloyd, who was a known acquaintance of Hernandez. Things then escalated even further this morning when the Patriots announced that they were releasing Hernandez in wake of the arrest, just one year after giving him a $40 million contract.
Hernandez is waiting to be arraigned in a Boston court and many assume that is when the public will know what he has been officially charged with. This situation appears that it will go on for quite sometime and we will update with all news as it becomes available.
UPDATE: Aaron Hernandez faces 6 charges including murder. He has pleaded not guilty.
