Prior to last night, it had been over 7 years since the greatest play-by-play announcer in professional wrestling had called an entire event. After his departure from the E! two months ago, Ross has had a chip on his shoulder and it showed last night in the booth. Hearing JR back on the headset for a major North American PPV may have been worth the watch alone.
