Baltimore at Denver

For the first matchup in the 2013 NFL divisional playoffs, we’ll see the Baltimore Ravens travel to Mile High Stadium and face off against the Denver Broncos. The two met exactly a month ago before the season concluded on week 15, where the Broncos won 34-17 led by Peyton Manning’s 204 yards.
The Ravens were shorted handed defensively and managed to give Peyton his lowest passing total of the season, but Peyton still found a way to avoid the pass rush the fierce secondary of Baltimore.
Today the Ravens are at complete strength, as this could possibly be Ray Lewis’s last game in the NFL with the Broncos being a heavy favorite today. For the Ravens to win, it’s going to be strictly on the shoulders of Joe Flacco, as I expect Peyton Manning to pick apart the Ravens defense in the stretch of the game. He’s been having arguably the best season of his career.
As Denver finished the season on an 11 game winning streak, achieving home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, a convincing win here today could turn the heads of the entire NFL, with Manning ending his playoff “cold” steak.
Expect this one to come down to the wire with the Broncos somehow edging out the Ravens “D” in Peyton’s return to the playoffs.
