#PrayForAmirJohnson & That East
Friday night, the Toronto Raptors were host to the Atlanta Hawks for a rivalry game of the bragging rights in the Eastern Conference. With DeMar DeRozan back from a two-month injury, he soon returned on the court leading the Raptors in scoring for the second consecutive game at 25 points. While Kyle Lowry was the only other starter in double digits, the Atlanta Hawks efficiency continued to in their 11th consecutive victory Friday night.
Already up 14 points, Atlanta would take a large amount of air out of the building when Al Horford showed us who the baseline killer was for the night. Unfortunately, Amir Johnson would become victim of the poterization from Horford’s drive, as he would get simply destroyed for an attempted block.
With the league’s best record at 32-8, the Hawks head to the United Center for an epic East Conference supremacy match-up against the Chicago Bulls. With Joakim Noah out for an sprained right ankle (also missed previous match-up), Chicago will look to Taj Gibson and Pau Gasol to provide much-needed inside defense.
