We’re finally at the resolution in the Alex Rodriguez case with Major League Baseball. Reports today indicate that he will be suspended for 162 games (the entire 2014 season) by the league. A-Rod faced a 211 game ban for his continued steroid use, but the verdict was delivered earlier today. He will be going through the appeals process in federal court as a result, but chances are, the verdict will stand moving forward.
According to the sources, if A-Rod does continue his battle against MLB, he could spend up to $10 million in court and have no guarantee to win his case. The way it’s played out, we will not be seeing Alex Rodriguez on any baseball field in 2014 and even worse, for the rest of his career. Do remember, his suspension is without pay so the New York Yankees will save $25 million dollars.
Good riddance to Alex Rodriguez, his legacy and career.
