It looks like the Alex Rodriguez vs. MLB war is going to get ugly. One day after the Boston Red Sox ended the season by winning the World Series, A-Rod announced that he is suing the league and commissioner Bud Selig because of his suspension from the league, over alleged steroid use. A-Rod is claiming that his own team of investigators have found that MLB have engaged in major misconduct and are on a “witch hunt” to take him down.

Like we said, this one could get really ugly when it finally gets settled in an independent forum. Both sides will be able to give their side of the story and then a final decision will be made. If the ruling goes against A-Rod he will have to serve his 211 game suspension starting next season. One thing we have yet to see from the MLB is actual facts or substantial physical evidence that links A-Rod to taking steroids.

We will follow this story as it develops this offseason.
