“IVERSON” Documentary Premieres May 16th on Showtime

Watch the Showtime trailer for “IVERSON”!

In the past, many have dubbed Allen Iverson as the most influential basketball player of all time. Last spring, the Philadelphia 76ers legend was granted his own documentary, which premiered originally at the NYC Tribeca Film Festival in limited public showcasing. If you’re like us and obviously didn’t attend the 2014 showcasing, Showtime Networks will be airing IVERSON in few weeks and shares the project’s official TV trailer.

The Answer’s documentary is set to give a look at both his greatest and lowest moments from his NBA career and what led to him being exiled out of the league a few years ago. Now that time has passed to heal past issues among the NBA, Iverson has been taking steps to rejoining the league behind-the-scenes in Philadelphia, which the documentary shows how he’s been able to cope with seeing an early retirement.

Look for IVERSON on Showtime and Showtime Anytime, Saturday, May 16th.
