From WAY downtown!
Andre Drummond is more known for battling inside the paint and grabbing rebounds than shooting triples, but he knocked one down in tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics.
Right before halftime, the Detroit Pistons center came up with the strong board under the basket after a Kelly Olynyk missed three and instead of outletting up the court to someone more qualified, he decided to bring up the ball himself and launch it from the halfcourt logo at the The Palace of Auburn Hills. The result? A perfect trey that hit the bottom of the net. It proved to be the difference in the long run, because the Pistons beat the Celtics by only three points.
Drummond ended the night with a double-double, scoring 16 points and coming up with 12 rebounds in the win.
