If there was one play that summed up tonight’s Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder matchup, it’s probably this Andre Iguodala layup that somehow made its way in.
Right before halftime, the Warriors were in transition and Iggy ended up with the ball in his hands. Knowing the foul was coming, he threw up the prayer and he scored. You can tel by Marv Albert’s reaction and the crowd in the background that Oracle Arena went bezerk.
The question going into the game was how the Warriors would react to that Game 1 loss, but they silenced the critics and with authority tonight.
Steph Curry completely snapped for bursts throughout the game, finished the game with 28 points, while shooting 5-8 from 3-point land. Klay Thompson added 15 points of his own, while Iguodala added a spark off the bench scoring 14 points.
Although Kevin Durant led all scorers with 29 points, it was a slow night for every other Thunder player, including Russell Westbrook, who only had 16 points on the night. No other OKC player scored in the double digits for them.
