The Atlanta Hawks Hand the Cavs Their First Loss of the Season

We thought the Cleveland Cavaliers were going to go into the double digits before they lost a game, but Election Day was the night the defending champions lost their first game of the season.

Facing the Atlanta Hawks on the road, Dennis Schroder, Paul Millsap and Kent Bazemore helped the squad get the W over the Cavs. Up two points with 13 seconds left, Bazemore took a step-back long two-pointer to give the Hawks the definitive win. He finished the game with 25 points, while Millsap knocked down 21 and Schroder led all ATL scorers with 28.

Cleveland had some pretty plays too, but that 4th quarter comeback was not in the books on this night. Kevin Love finished the game with 21 points and 12 rebounds, LeBron James had 23 points and Kyrie Irving finished with 29 points as the Big 3 came out to play.
