Bengals and Steelers Get Into Pre-Game Scuffle

Even non-active players were involved

It’s no secret that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals don’t like each other. All week the two teams have been saying it. And right before today’s game, the tensions between the two sides were met up close and personal in an altercation.

The significance of it? Pacman Jones was involved and he was in a walking boot. Jones isn’t even active today, but somehow found himself in the middle of the scrum, shoving people, when it was Vontaze Burfict and Vince Williams at the center of it. It all happened when the teams were stretching and the two linebackers went from verbal to bumping helmets, yet things didn’t escalate enough where punches were thrown.

Apparently, it all started because of tweets Williams sent out about Burfict last month, which called him out for celebrating a Le’Veon Bell tackle that injured the Pittsburgh running back’s knee and ultimately ended his season. Tackle injures turning Twitter fingers, for real.

Pacman Jones had a message after the game too.
