A few days ago, Blake Griffin got shipped out on a one-way ticket to the city of Detroit to play for the Pistons. He had no idea it was happening, he found on Twitter like the rest of us, so there’s not much he could do about it.
Now he’s looking to run the tables in the Eastern Conference and he had a solid effort for his Motown debut alongside Andre Drummond.
Griffin had a solid effort, getting a double double in his Detroit debut, scoring 24 points and getting 10 rebounds in the effort. He also had 5 assists. He was the team’s leading scorer, absolutely dominating against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Eastern Conference will be a easier path for the former NBA All-Star and with Drummond doing his thing as well, it seems like the two will form one of the best frontcourts in the NBA.
Will they be a scary 8th seed?
