The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the jokes of the NBA right now, completely underwhelming their expectations for the year and going on a losing streak only seen in bottom feeder teams. Now, things are getting worse for them.
Clips star player Blake Griffin will be missing up to two months a sprained MCL in his left knee, with an MRI revealing he had no structural damage.
The injury happened in the fourth quarter of their game against the Los Angeles Lakers, where teammate Austin Rivers and Lonzo Ball dove for a loose ball and Rivers landed on him. He immediately grimaced and clutched for his knee, stayed in the game for one play, then was taken to the locker room under his own power.
Injuries are a theme for Griffin, suffering a number of injuries the past few seasons. From a broken hand, to injured quad, toe and right knee.
R.I.P to the Clippers season and most likely, Doc Rivers as the coach of the team.
