The New York Yankees Will Once Again Miss The Playoffs
Yeah, sorry to break it to you Yankees fans, but playoffs in 2014 just doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. Even though the Yanks have made some improvements this offseason, they still ignored some key areas of the team that need to be addressed. Oh, and there is that whole Alex Rodriguez pending suspension/appeal situation that most likely will loom over their heads for quite awhile.
The reason why this would be such a big deal is because it has been a very long time since the Yanks missed the playoffs in back to back seasons. To give them credit, the last time they did this, they won the World Series the very next year.
We don’t see it playing out like that this time, though.
