A lot of lives are going to change on June 23, 2016 when NBA commissioner Adam Silver reads names off and college players finally find a home at the pro level. Brandon Ingram is certainly going to be one of the two names called out on that night, right next to Ben Simmons.
The Duke forward has been working out hard ahead of the NBA draft, proving why he could go No. 1 overall, trying to improve the jumpshot and get acquainted with the physicality of the next level. While most mock drafts have him going No. 2 to the Los Angeles Lakers, Ingram still needs to work on adding weight and muscle to his frame to compete at a high level for years to come.
In this video, Brandon talks about when he fell in love with basketball, why going to Duke was a blessing and what he’s been trying to work on in front of scouts before June 23.
Do you think Ingram is worthy of a No. 1 pick? Will the Sixers pass up on Simmons?
