HOLY SHIT!
Although BYU and Nebraska aren’t ranked to start the 2015 season of College Football, they had without a doubt the most exciting finish among all teams for the season premiere of Game Day. Before the Cornhuskers begin their play against fellow Big 10 schools, they held an opener of against BYU, which players, fans and everyone watching TV would never forget.
Nebraska had the game all but won, until there was one second left and their opponents did the unthinkable. In the shot-gun on the final play, Cougars quarterback Tanner Mangum would attempt an impossible Hail Mary prayer pass to the in-zone.
Luckily for BYU, their prayers were answered, as Mitch Mathews would complete the remarkable catch to stun the entire Memorial Stadium at the goal line. BYU now returns home for a rivalry game against Boise State, as the Cornhuskers will have a week at home to wait for South Alabama.
FINAL: BYU 33 | NEBRASKA 28
