MEGATRON SHOWED UP
The Detroit Lions didn’t quite have the year they pictured when they started the season and that could be said for a lot of the stars on the squad as well, including Calvin Johnson.
But Megatron showed out on the season finale on the road against the Chicago Bears, giving their secondary fits and burning them for one of the best performances of the year. On this play in the 3rd quarter, Johnson got some separation and had to extend a little to make the catch, diving a bit and securing the pass all the way for a 37-yard touchdown.
Megatron ended the game with 10 receptions and 137 yards total, with one touchdown.
Hopefully this isn’t the last game for Calvin as a Lion, because there was word around the NFL that they were trying to trade him and/or get rid of him and rebuild.
