What happened to #HoodieMelo?
Less than 24 hours after losing their first-round series to the Utah Jazz, the Oklahoma City Thunder are now in turmoil. This weekend, the team is currently having exit meetings, as players and coaches are still reacting to a failed year. While all eyes were centered on Paul George and his upcoming free agency (see: Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron James), that has all shifted to Carmelo Anthony.
In an interview with media, Melo made some eye-raising remarks, which will may have already ruffled a few feathers within the organization. Regarding his role in the series, Carmelo said he’s still unwilling to come off the bench. While his best playing days may be behind him for good, Anthony might be playing his last season not on the veteran’s minimum in 2019.
Take a look at the interview, along with stand-out excerpts below.
Melo asked about possibly coming off the bench: "I'm not sacrificing no bench role. So that's out of the question."

Melo came into exit interviews and burned the damn practice facility to ash: "It wasn't no strategy to me being here, me being a part of the actual system and what type of player and things like that…I don't think I can be effective as that type of player. " pic.twitter.com/Wjeh8HjE3K
