Carmelo Anthony Hits Game Winner Over Andrew Wiggins

About a week ago, we saw Carmelo Anthony do the same thing in overtime against the Charlotte Hornets. He did that in overtime, though. Tonight, Anthony hit the clutch jumper over Andrew Wiggins with time in regulation winding down. And for the win.

With about 8 seconds to go and the score tied at 104, ‘Melo put that work on the young Minnesota Timberwolves guard and showed him why he’s one of the best in the league.

Kristaps Porzingis actually led the New York Knicks in scoring tonight (he scored 29 points) but Carmelo contributed with 14 points, two of which were crucial.

Karl-Anthony Towns was the player of the game, completely spazzing in the losing effort, scoring a career-high 47 points and 18 rebounds. Straight beasting at home.

FINAL: NYK 106 | MIN 104
