Melo still has his entire trust in the Zen Master
For whatever reason, Phil Jackson has been the reason why the New York Knicks have been shit for nearly 15-years. With limited draft picks and players unwillingly to come play for one of the league’s richest franchises in history, he openly took responsibility for the team’s failure. Last summer, Carmelo Anthony decided he would be a Knickerbocker for life, when he agreed to a 5-Year, $122 million deal.
Unfortunately, with limited cap room last summer and no draft picks, the team was forced into a lame duck year, as the previously mentioned two were at blame for the epic season failure. This prompted Anthony to get completely healthy in the last February, when he agreed to have season-ending knee surgery.
The NY team captain is currently in Las Vegas for Team USA camp and finally opened up whether he agrees with the team’s moves this off-season. Take a look above at Melo discussing his admiration for the Knicks in 2016.
