Watch Chris Bosh 1st Interview since discovery of Blood Clots
Three weeks ago, the Miami Heat learned their best player Chris Bosh would have to miss the remainder of the season, due to blood clots. After complaining about a severe pain in his chest during his brief vacation in Haiti, doctors uncovered his career as a professional in the NBA could potentially end. After undergoing successful surgery, Bosh received good news that he would be able to resume all activities in September – one month before the start of the 2016 pre-season. Today, Bosh made his return to the team in a suit and tie to address the public for the first time since the diagnosis and how he he’s planning to take his time back to the court.
The Miami HEAT, Thoracic Surgeon Dr. John DeRosimo and team Cardiologist Dr. Ed Neff released the following statement on the health of Chris Bosh. Chris Bosh will be re-evaluated this month, and if cleared, may begin regular exercise at that time with plans to start strength training next month. He is scheduled to resume full basketball activities in September.
