Chances are if you were watching the Clippers and Sixers game last night, it was because of the possibility of “Lob City” showing out. They sure stepped up and did so in one of the biggest blowouts we have seen in the NBA lately. It was so bad, that the Clippers were up 31 points in the first quarter and ended with a 45 point route in Chris Paul’s grand return to the court after his most recent injury.
One of the many highlights for the Clips in this one was a breakaway opportunity where CP3 and Blake Griffin reminded the world where the capital of “Lob City” resides. Paul decided to toss the ball off the glass to Blake for the alley-oop and Blake then threw it down with a windmill, much to the crowd’s delight. This dunk really got us exited because Paul is playing in the All-Star game with Blake, but it also made us upset that Blake isn’t participating in this year’s dunk contest (or any future ones).
Watch the ridiculous dunk after the jump.
