Just when you thought this NBA season couldn’t get any more strange something like this happens. The Los Angeles Clippers announced that superstar PG Chris Paul will miss 3-5 weeks with a separated shoulder that he injured in last night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. This gets added to the already long list of stars that have gone down this year.

After the game Clippers head coach Doc Rivers announced the injury and revealed that there was a tear in CP3’s shoulder. This is obviously a big loss for the Clips as they currently sit in the 4th position in the Western Conference, but are in danger of slipping to the bottom because of this. In semi-related news ESPN is reporting that the Knicks have opened up discussions with the Clippers about a trade that would send Carmelo Anthony to the LA in exchange for Blake Griffin. We will update when more details on both stories become available.
