Clint Dempsey sat down with David Letterman to discuss the past month, with the tournament being his third World Cup after Germany and South Africa. Despite breaking his nose in the game against Ghana, the two reflected on the Germany loss and the astonishing 7-1 clash with Brazil to take Joachim Löw’s side to the final.
Clint also spoke on the amount of fake injuries in the game and how players try to work around the rules to waste time and win free-kicks. It’s safe to say, you never know if someone is faking it or not. Just look at what happened with Neymar.
