Although the Los Angeles Clippers lost Chris Paul this past offseason, they have over achieved. With the likes of Lou Williams, DeAndre Jordan and Danilo Gallinari, the Clips have turned into a scrappy bunch, battling for every win and giving teams a surprise when they face them.
Of course, they need to improve on their consistency.
Even sitting right outside the eighth spot in the Western Conference, they have made a major move to to contend in the future. The Clippers have sent Blake Griffin packing to the Detroit Pistons.
The Clippers and Pistons have agreed on a deal to trade Blake Griffin for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, a first-round and a second-round draft pick, league sources tell ESPN.

In exchange, L.A. will get Avery Bradley, Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, as well as a 2018 protected first-round and a 2019 second-round draft pick for the future. Reports are saying that the Clippers will be blowing up the team for younger players and look for trade partners surrounding DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams.
