Last week, the sports world got the heartbreaking news that TNT reporter Craig Sager had passed from his battle with Leukemia. The legendary sideline journalist with impeccable style was 65.
Back in October, in the middle of his chemotherapy and bone marrow treatments, he sat down with CBS This Morning‘s Jim Axelrod to talk about his perspective on life and how he’s fought so hard against the disease. Sager was very adamant about still going to his children’s sports games and celebrating his wedding anniversary right up until he passed.
Even on the other side of the microphone, answering questions, it’s heartbreaking to watch Craig in his black-and-blue floral blazer looking very fragile.
