Bodeine Brazy!
Last month, the NFL suspended Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain for 10-games, which many believed was to be a petty marijuana find. However, new reports have surfaced that McClain was having more fun in Dallas than just some good loud. The Dallas Morning News now claims that Rolando tested positive for opiates, revealing he had an addiction to codeine syrup.
The 27-year-old has allegedly gained 40 pounds, as the Jones family are still quiet on his information going public.
Last season, after retiring for a year with the Baltimore Ravens in 2014, he was also suspended for the first games of 2015 with the Cowboys after a positive drug test.
In a conversation with ESPN, he said, “I was feeling like Aaron Hernandez or something, like I just wanted to kill somebody.” But, after seeing the end result of former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez receiving a life-sentence, he immediately reconsidered his life plans.
Whether or not Rolando plays another down in the NFL remains to be seen, but we’re hopeful he gets his life on track for the immediate future. Get well soon, family.
