Lillard goes beast mode in route over Sacramento
Monday night, the Portland Trailblazer were home for a game at the Moda Center against long-time western conference rival, the Sacramento Kings. Portland was looking to finally end a three-game losing skit, but didn’t have an easy task on their hands. Team captain LaMarcus Aldridge would soon exit the game in the second quarter, with a left hand injury. He’s set to be reevaluated tomorrow to determine if he’ll miss time.
While he was ruled out for the rest of the game, Damian Lillard had to lead the team to a much-needed victory. The all-star point-guard managed to rally the team down from a double-digit deficit to eventually gain the lead in the 4th quarter and would put the finishing touches to an impressive outing.
With under a minute left in the game and up only one point, Damian would slash through Darren Collison and Jason Thompson at the top of the key – to cap off the drive with an powerful dunk over Derrick Williams.
