This is easily the greatest thing to come out on the Internet today. The Baseball Writers Association Of America has officially suspended ESPN personality Dan LeBatard for one year, took away his Hall Of Fame vote forever and banned him from attending any baseball games next season. What did LeBatard do to piss them off? Oh, he only turned his HOF ballot over to the guys at Deadspin and let them fill it out for him.
The BBWAA obviously found out about what LeBatard did and were baffled. The irony of baseball writers getting mad about a voter in their flawed system for the Hall Of Fame, makes this all that much better. LeBatard has yet to comment on the situation, but we doubt he is going to lose sleep over not attending Marlins games this summer.
